Last night the team drove 3 hours from the end of our ride yesterday to Billings and spent the night in an Airbnb. This morning, Jenny took off for the airport and Rick Chapman flew in a few hours later. We now have our new driver, Rick, for the next two weeks.

This is our first full day off the bikes since June 8th. After 1,280 miles and something like 55,000 feet of climbing this “forced” rest day to change the support drivers was awesome! Today, we caught up on wash, reorganized our gear, sent some supplies home to make more room in the truck, did other personal errands and slept in a little. There was no push to get on the bikes!

Late afternoon today we drive back down to the Ten Sleep area in Wyoming and plan to tackle our biggest climb of the entire ride tomorrow. Look forward to reporting on our success tomorrow night!
