The day began at the Pacific Ocean's edge in Seaside, Oregon, and concluded in Ranier, Oregon, covering approximately 76.5 miles with a total ascent of 4,000 feet. From around mile 5 to the journey's end, we encountered the Pacific Northwest's signature cold rain and easterly winds. It was a chilly and wet day! We took several coffee breaks and had an extended lunch to warm up midday. We met numerous wonderful people today who were very interested in the Seeing Eye and our mission at Puppy Ride Long Island!
